Biography
I am happy and blessed to be part of the faculty and staff of Geneva County Elementary School. I am excited to begin my 12th year as a library media specialist. This is my 30th year in education.
I have been married to my husband William for thirty-eight years, and we have wonderful grown children who are pursuing their dreams and chosen careers in education as well; a son and daughter-in-law in Auburn, Alabama, and a daughter and son-in-law in Mobile, Alabama. We are the proud Nanny and Papa to three amazing foster grandchildren and a grand furbaby.
In my free time, I enjoy visiting my children, RVing (camping), tailgating at Troy football games, and just relaxing at home.
It is my goal as the Library Media Specialist to create and maintain a welcoming and exciting library environment, and to ensure that students enjoy the library and develop a love for books and reading.
